In 1976, after the end of the Biafran War that ravaged south-east Nigeria between 1967 and 1970, an officer of modest means falls in love with a high society girl. Their controversial relationship is complicated further when the military is suspected of participating in another coup d'état. Filmed like a blaxploitation thriller, this drama caused a sensation at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.
