13-year-old Lucas was in a car accident that left him in a wheelchair. At school, he meets young Laís, who has never met her father. Together they head off to look for him and embark on a journey full of adventure and friendship. With the magnificent Brazilian countryside as a backdrop, On Wheels takes us on a journey that is part road movie, part rite of passage.
