Fribourg International Film Festival is happy to take part in the Swiss National Days for the Rights of Disabled People. The programme in the Canton of Fribourg spreads its activities from 15th May to 15th June. FIFF organizes a screening on Saturday 8th June. Two films of the Guillaume brothers - two directors form Fribourg - are on the programme along with other short films.
Difference is a treasure of our world. Each and every one can play one's part and cohabits for the bette, whatever the colour of one's skin, whatever our size. Here are lovely thoughts that FIFF shares on the 8th of June with five short films (suggested age 4+).
The screening will start with the short films programme Pas pareil…et pourtant ("Not the same... and yet", trailer) which offers a range of animation films with no dialog. Among them, the audience will discover Le Renard et l'oisille, a short film made by Sam and Fred Guillaume from Fribourg and presented as a World Premiere at FIFF 2019. Another film by the duo from Fribourg will complete the screening: Le Conte des sables d’or ("The tale of the golden sands", trailer). The latter was created working with disabled youth, aged between 4 and 18, in Fribourg specialized school "Les Buissonnets". Those five films will make one travel away from any preconception.
