Selected in Tallinn in 2017 and a winner in Sofia in 2018, this black comedy rippling with North Macedonian sardonic wit centres around Vele who has no money to pay for his father’s cancer treatment and resorts to baking him a marijuana-laced cake to ease his suffering. The problem is that the dealers he stole the drugs from are now hot on his heels.
