This is the second feature from the director, writer, stage performer and human rights lawyer. The film, which won the Special Jury Prize at Rotterdam 2023, tells the story of an ex-Tamil-Tiger militant who returns to his home village after he is released on bail and goes in search of Vaani, his childhood sweetheart.
