This documentary, which won at Sundance 2018, explores the life of the British-Sri Lankan Tamil singer and rapper M.I.A. It draws on the artist's diaries collected over 22 years to document her creative journey, her rise to fame (including her duet with Madonna at the 2012 Superbowl), her activism and the racism she experienced as a refugee.
