Mohammad Rasoulof’s third feature, which was named Best Film at the 2010 Durban Film Festival in South Africa, tells an agonising and astonishing tale. It follows Rahmat, a sailor, a sort of 21st century Sinbad, on his strange mission to collect the tears of the people living on the islands which dot the Persian Gulf.
