Botox has won awards at some 15 festivals but regrettably few distributors have picked it up even though this offbeat film manages to turn a lie – two sisters claim their missing brother is in Germany – into an ever more absurd and spiralling story, while addressing the important issue of female agency in a country where men have the last word.
