Born in England to Irish parents, Shane MacGowan has always maintained close ties with the land of his ancestors. The Pogues front man, now worn out by past excesses, shares his tumultuous journey with a few fans, including Johnny Depp and Gerry Adams, former leader of Sinn Féin. It is a moving story of a wisecracking barfly turned punk rock legend who had the entire world pogo dancing.
