In the lead-up to Anita and Bekim's wedding, Nol, a friend of the groom returns to Kosovo from his exile in France. The two men had an affair during the war, and Nol is still in love with Bekim. The director has dared to tackle a subject – homosexuality – that is still a taboo in Kosovar society. It did not stop Kosovo from choosing her film as its Oscar entry.

Ndërkohë që Anita dhe Bekimi bënin pergatitjet e fundit per dasmen e tyre, Noli, miku i Bekimit, kthehet në vend pasi qe kishte imigruar unë Francë. Dy burrat kishin lidhje intime gjatë luftës dhe Noli është ende i dashuruar me Bekimin. Regjisori trajton tabunë e homoseksualitetit në shoqërinë kosovare. Kjo nuk e pengoi vendin e tij që të zgjidhte filmin e tij në garën për Oscar.
