Claude (Gérard Philipe) is a music teacher with a very fertile imagination. He escapes the boredom of his mediocre life through his daydreams. He finds himself seducing women (Gina Lollobrigida, Martine Carol and Magali Vendeuil) in different places and in different eras. There is an ethereal quality to this gentle and charming French comedy. A real rarity.
