Back to listing

Nepal, French-style. The directorial debut by one of Luc Besson's assistant directors, this comedy starring Ahmed Sylla is loosely based on the book Un Tocard sur le Toit du Monde by journalist Nadir Dendoune, who in 1998 became the first Algerian to reach the summit of Everest. The film is the second fictional film to be shot at the Everest base camp, just after the Japanese.
