This remake of Josee, the Tiger and the Fish, a Japanese film which is hugely popular in Korea, is a sublime adaptation by the comedy-drama king from the Land of Morning Calm. It is a tender and subtle portrayal of the relationship between a young paraplegic woman and her partner. A melodrama in the truest sense and a real tear-jerker.
