Srebrenica, 11th July 1995. Aida works as a translator for the UN. When the Serbian army captures her home town, her husband and two sons are among the thousands of civilians who seek out the protection of the Blue Helmets. This is a gut-wrenching, but necessary, film which not only tells the story of a woman of immense courage as she battles to save her family, but also pays homage to conflict survivors.
This film contains explicit scenes which may be offensive or disturbing to sensitive viewers.
