For almost 20 years, a jury of youth aged 18 to 25 years old gives an award to one of the feature film in competition at Fribourg international Films Festival. This Youth Jury is supported by Comundo, Its members give the COMUNDO prize – consisting of a sum of CHF 5'000.- – to a feature film which shows best their generation’s concerns. The call for candidates for the 2023 edition is now open.
The members of the Youth jury are Switzerland resident between 18 and 25 years old. In 2022, the member of this jury awarded the film Amira by director Mohamed Diab. They also answered the questions of a local TV-journalist. You can watch the video (in French) here
Comundo promotes personnel development cooperation (PDC). Comundo works with a holistic approach and encourages cross-linking between its work and various partners. Comundo hires qualified personnal according to projects' needs, trains them and prepares them specifically for their assignement. While on mission, co-workers are supported both by a local coordinator and by a project manager in Switzerland.
