No need to have seen the first opus! In this sequel to On the Job (FIFF 2014), the director continues his exploration of the shadowy world of corruption in the Philippines. This political thriller teems with subplots and, like a classic gangster movie, right up to the inclusion of Sinatra on the soundtrack, it dissects a complex reality. This complexity extends to the central character, a corrupt reporter who ultimately will be forced to pick a side.
