Jean-Paul Rütimann is gone... Between 1996 and 1999, he was president of the board of the Fribourg International Film Festival. His professionalism and his enthusiasm made it possible to keep the event afloat in a time of difficulties and questionning, around the 10th edition.
Jean-Paul, who was in charge of public relations, worked among other things to spread the image of FIFF. During his benevolent presidency the Festival became international: indeed, the "I" for "International" in FIFF was his feat.
The current directors and the Festival team send their condolences to the family of this man who has remained a great friend of FIFF all his life.
