Marie-Elsa Sgualdo – Switzerland
Marie-Elsa Sgualdo was born in 1986 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. In 2010, she obtained a BA in cinema from HEAD in Geneva, where she directed Vas-y je t’aime and Bam Tchak, then followed up with On the Beach. She obtained a master's degree in writing in 2012 from INSAS in Brussels, before directing Man kann nicht alles auf einmal tun, aber man kann alles auf einmal lassen, selected for the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes. Co-founder of the Terrain Vague collective, Marie-Elsa is currently writing her first feature film.
Corinna Weiss – Switzerland
Corinna Weiss was born in 1985 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. In 2010, she obtained a bachelor's degree in sociocultural animation in Geneva, while at the same time creating ARTUNG!, an organisation which creates quirky artistic evenings in public spaces. In 2012, she completed a master's degree in museum studies at the University of Neuchâtel. As part of her visual anthropology studies, she directed two short films: Absolut Guggen and La Malou. In 2013, she founded the QUARTIER GENERAL association in La Chaux-de-Fonds and became director of the contemporary art centre of the same name, where she has directed three exhibitions to date, as well as the commissioned exhibition "Haut les masques!"
Annina Wettstein – Switzerland
Annina Wettstein was born in St Gallen (CH) in 1977. Degree course in Cultural Studies, French Literature and Business Economy, specialising in Marketing, in Zurich. Programme Coordinator and member of the Selection Commission for the Solothurner Filmtage festival since 2012. Previously responsible for the «Cinetour» short film nominations and for taking care of guests at the Solothurner Filmtage festival. Before that, positions with the Fantoche International Animation Film Festival in Baden (CH), the film distributor cineworx GmbH, various documentary film productions and exhibition projects. Also, teaching of «popular culture» as a visiting lecturer for the University of Zurich.
