Ten years after Himalaya, French filmmaker Eric Valli has returned to Nepal to make a documentary narrated by the actor Jacques Gamblin. Every spring, thousands of Nepalese leave their villages to take a dangerous trek through the Himalayas. They are searching for the Yartsa Gunbu, a mysterious transmutation between a plant and an insect that is highly prized on the Chinese market for its medicinal properties.
