
Released in 1977 and produced by the Royal Nepal Film Corporation, Kumari was the first Eastmancolor Nepali film. The film is based on the novel Shova by Bijay Malla and explores the life of a Kumari, a Living Goddess. Debates between the original author and the director about the adaptation of the film were published in daily newspapers. RKP
