Numa, a young girl from the Nepali Limbu minority, struggles with the cultural traditions of her people. The film is seen as a milestone in the history of Nepali cinema. Nabin Subba, also head of the Indigenous Film Archive, shows in a convincing way, that even in a very patriarchal society women can take a stand and fight back. RKP
