A belated first appearance at the 2016 Mostra di Venezia for the great documentary maker Claire Simon, The Graduation follows the entrance exams for one of the most prestigious films schools, la FEMIS in Paris. From the students first arriving to the final deliberation, the filmmaker provides much more than a simple TV talent show, this film is a reflection on the role of cinema in our society.
