People in a northern China town are going about their business, but everything seems to be malfunctioning. Shot after shot reveals the absurdity of the situations that the protagonists find themselves in. Part satire, part comedy, this debut feature is reminiscent of Waiting for Godot, where there is no apparent way out for any of them.
