The first co-production by a pair of promising young filmmakers, Araby was recommended to us by one of the biggest names in Brazilian cinema and a friend of the FIFF, Walter Salles. You will see why when you discover the story: a lyrical, neorealist road movie about a young worker that begins near an old aluminium factory. The film has already won over audiences at Rotterdam and San Sebastián.
