Fellini has left a void that is not easily filled. To celebrate what would have been his 100th birthday this year, we have chosen to screen his masterpiece starring Cardinale. “With Fellini, there’s no script. It’s all improvisation. He gave us free rein, and I was his muse.” And what a muse! In terms of visual poetry, this exposition of the turmoil and fantasies of a film director remains unsurpassed.
