In a parallel universe not unlike the United States, people of colour have all the best jobs while the white population are stuck in deadbeat work. When model employee Louis Pinnock (John Travolta) is sacked unfairly, he resolves to kidnap his former boss (Harry Belafonte) in return for a ransom. A classic thriller where the tables of justice are turned.
