The Great Wall

Back to listing
It is a little-known fact that the Great Wall of China was originally built to keep out ferocious monsters. In charge of ensuring that operations run smoothly is a soldier of fortune (the American Matt Damon), a mercenary without fear or blame. This Chinese blockbuster with a distinctly Hollywood flavour proved too American for most Chinese tastes. That may be, but it is an alternate history movie after all.
