The Seen and Unseen

Tantri, a young girl of 10, escapes to a dream world as a way of dealing with the death of her twin brother Tantra following an illness. This magical voyage through the mind of a child whose imagination distorts reality was selected for Toronto 2017 and Berlin 2018. Indonesian director Kamila Andini has developed a non-verbal style of filmmaking that has earned her the Grand Prix at the Tokyo FILMeX festival.
