After eight years of The Walking Dead and all the copies it has inspired, the zombie motif seemed to have been, if you’ll excuse the pun, bled dry. Who would have thought that it would find a new lease of life in Quebec? Aubert has reinvented the genre with inventiveness and humour, adapting it to the psyche of his part of the country and the second nature of the Quebecois people: survival.
