This is the first film shot in the self-proclaimed, pro-Russia Republic of Transnistria. Adrian lives a stone’s throw away from the Republic of Moldova. The young man sculpts wax angels, sings in the church choir, and smuggles cannabis across the border. But he dreams of escaping to Europe with his friend Ion. A shadowy tale and an impressive debut by Eugene Marian.
