Ying-Juan weighs 105 kilos. On her 30th birthday, her mother signs her up to a weight loss programme. But events take an unexpected turn. Director Hsieh Pei-ju, aided by an outstanding performance from Tsai Jai-yin, has delivered a debut feature that satirises society's proclivity for fat shaming, and celebrates those who rebel against it.
