Born to Pakistani immigrants, 16-year old Nisha is a Norwegian teenager. One day, her father, a stickler for tradition who fears being judged by others, finds her in her room with a boy. He decides to send her by force to Pakistan to be brought up by an aunt and uncle. Filmed in Europe and in Rajasthan, this autobiographical story had its world première at the Toronto Film Festival.
