
Winner of the 1960 Golden Lion in Venice, Le Voyage en ballon is one of four films by Albert Lamorisse that uses Hélivision, an aerial photography technique he had invented (he also invented the board game Risk). It follows a balloonist and his stowaway grandson as they embark on an epic aerial voyage across France.
