Houria is a gifted dancer from Algiers who cleans houses by day and bets on illicit fights by night. Her dreams of becoming a ballerina are dashed after a physical attack that leaves her broken and mute. With striking visuals from the director of Papicha and a spellbinding performance by Lyna Khoudri, the film is a fitting end to FIFF 2023 and an expression of hope for young people everywhere.
