Gentleman Rissient

Back to listing

Pierre Rissient is a friend of FIFF, having honoured the Festival with his presence in 2016 and written in the Positif review that it is one of the best festivals he knows. After Man of Cinema by Todd McCarthy in 2007, he has been honoured with a second documentary. A man of cinema, friend of Eastwood and Tarantino, Rissient recounts how he entered the world of film and befriended the greats.

Moi, Thomas, 12 ans, cinéfou

Mamad, a sexagenarian filmmaker and cinephile of Iranian origin, interviews Thomas, 12, a huge film fan from Paris who already holds some strong opinions. A meeting between two residents and defenders of planet cinema.

La Séance de 15h

The Cinémathèque de Lausanne has three screenings a day: 9pm, 6.30pm and 3pm. The 3pm slot draws in a few regulars who never speak to one another. At least not until the filmmaker arrives.
