Salim Shaheen is the Afghan actor and director of more than 100 low-budget, crowd-pleasing Z movies. He is also a major Bollywood and Bruce Lee fan. In Nothingwood, documentary maker Sonia Kronlund follows Shaheen as he shoots his latest film. It paints an endearing and engaging portrait of a world where ingenuity and improvisation are key to surviving in a country bereft of aid and material resources.
