The everyday life of Adriana, her husband and two kids runs with military precision, but the delicate family balance is upset by a pregnancy announcement. This wilfully immoral dystopia sees all of them oscillate between violence and humiliation in a bid to secure their position within the family. This indulgently sadistic film skewers the myth of blood being thicker than water.
