FIFF is committed to nurturing and promoting the next generation of Swiss filmmakers. Every year, Swiss cinematography schools are invited to submit their students' short films to FIFF; the winner is chosen by a panel of filmmakers from the New Territory section. FIFF has stepped up its efforts this year and is proud to announce that, together with the Schweizer Jugendfilmtage, young filmmakers will also have the chance to compete for a new award: the Prix Röstigraben.
