In October, Lionel Baier, head of the ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne) Film Department, sent a group of his students to Nova Friburgo. They were supervised by the Swiss filmmaker Marie-Eve Hildbrand. Then, the Swiss consulate in Rio invited a group of Brazilian filmmakers to shoot some short films in Fribourg. An exceptional exchange.
The programme is supplemented by three short films shot in Fribourg by Brazilian film directors during the FIFF.
