The new post-war reality has left ex-soldier Sergiy shell-shocked. Life as he knew it has been shattered and his country lies in ruins. While recovering the bodies of the war dead, he meets Katya, who makes him see that a better future is possible. The new film by Vasyanovych, who won the 2018 FIFF Grand Prix for Black Level, is austere yet poetic like the molten metal in the Donbass ground.
