Screenings and special events
The 32nd FIFF will of course include screenings for families, seniors or for midnight audiences used to strong sensations, and the Swiss Passport screenings; a variety of events that draws in an ever more varied and younger audience. But the festival will be a celebration for the whole of Fribourg, as numerous cultural sites, exhibition spaces and concert venues will also offer activities to festival goers.
Forum, Panels and Masterclasses
The guests of the FIFF 2018 will participate in debates and masterclasses, in keeping with the festival's spirit of bringing people together away from the red carpet and creating simple, friendly interactions between filmmakers and the public.
Additional events
The growth of the FIFF has encouraged nearly every cultural entity in Fribourg to take part in the festivities. This means that music venues have offered to host events and at least four exhibition spaces will welcome works, photographs and paintings relating to one of the sections
