Filmmaking in the Republic of Moldova all but disappeared after the break-up of the Soviet Union. Today, a new generation of Moldovan artists are using their talent, humour and poetic spirit to breathe new life into the country's once dormant film industry. What is driving this incredible revival? What does the future hold for this new crop of resourceful and tenacious filmmakers? These are just two of the questions the roundtable hopes to answer.
