Concrete Utopia (FIFF 2024) subverted the disaster film genre with its dystopian tale of how the residents of the only building left standing in post-earthquake Seoul establish a new political order in their small community. Its equally dark sequel follows the resourceful young heroine and her disruptive effect on the complex's warped economic system.
