It is July 2006 and Hezbollah is at war with Israel. Marwan takes advantage of a ceasefire to search for his father whom he has not seen for a long time. His wife, Rana, stays in Beirut to prepare for their emigration to Canada. The film, which draws on the director's own life experiences, won at Venice in 2019.
