Tribute to Lita Stantic

Lita Stantic

Lita Stantic, creative producer

If the FIFF discovers the talents of tomorrow, it also pays tribute to the people who have blazed the trail for them. Lita Stantic, THE Argentine producer who thanks to her immense work allowed the Argentine New Wave to emerge in the nineties, is with us for a few days. She presents the films she has produced (Camila, La Cienaga), the film that she directed (Un muro de silencio), and will discuss with the professionals and the public the basic qualities that a producer must have in order to succeed outside the mainstream. A subject that never really loses its topicality. This programme is presented in part at the Cinémathèque Suisse (Swiss film library).
